What exactly is a "Balanced Diet"?
A good example of a healthy, balanced diet is the 'eat well plate'. The two keys to a healthy balanced diet are eating the right amount of food for how active you are, and eating a range of foods. The range of foods in your diet should be plenty of fruit and vegetables, plenty of potatoes, pasta and other starchy foods, milk and dairy, meat eggs beans and fish. Also just a small amount of high foods in fat and sugar.
